THE HARD PART“Productionizing a real-world medical training platform — workshop orchestration, assessment, and certification flow — end-to-end in 1.5 weeks.”
TrainICSI is India's first high-fidelity ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) and embryo biopsy training simulator, built in collaboration with NewGen Robotics. The platform enables embryologists to develop real micromanipulation skills through realistic, repeatable, and ethically compliant simulation — without consuming biological samples.
Designed for academic institutions and IVF training programs, the system addresses the long-standing gap between theoretical education and true procedural readiness. Trainees go through a structured workshop covering theory, live demonstration on the simulator, supervised hands-on practice with real-time feedback, and final assessment with certification.
A smaller engagement than the enterprise builds elsewhere on this site, but a real product shipped to real customers (Rayat Bahra University, Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology). I worked on productionizing the system end-to-end — taken from prototype to production in roughly 1.5 weeks.
